The Duval County Tax Collector’s Office will close early at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27th and will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving. We will re-open Monday, December 2nd at 8:30 a.m.

In observance of Veterans Day, all Tax Collector offices will be closed.

Duval County Tax Collector Jim Overton announced that 2024 tax bills are being mailed on Thursday, October 31st, and property owners can expect their bill to be delivered to their mailbox within the coming days.

Effective July 31, 2024, original, renewal, or replacement DL/ID cards issued will have an updated number. This one-time change using a newly-generated, random number is to better protect your personal information and is required by the state legislature.

In observance of Labor Day, all Tax Collector offices will be closed.

You can skip the wait and renew your vehicle registration at a self-service kiosk – including after hours and on the weekend – at select Publix locations!

Duval County Tax Collector Jim Overton announces the launch of a new online service that allows customers to purchase pre-sale vouchers for specialty license plates at www.duvaltc.com.

All Tax Collector offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.  We will reopen Thursday, June 20th at 8:30am.
