New Online Service to Purchase Pre-Sale Vouchers for Specialty License Plates

June 11, 2024
Duval County Tax Collector Jim Overton announces the launch of a new online service that allows customers to purchase pre-sale vouchers for specialty license plates at www.duvaltc.com.

Overton says this new service will make purchasing a pre-sale voucher for new specialty plates quick and convenient and give customers yet another reason to visit the Tax Collector’s website and save time by avoiding an in-person visit.

Pre-sale vouchers can be purchased by clicking on the Online Payments tab and selecting Specialty Plate Pre-Sale Vouchers. Before the launch of this service, customers had to visit a branch in-person in order to purchase a voucher.

Specialty license plates that have been authorized by Florida Statute must reach a pre-sale quantity of 3,000 vouchers within 24 months before the plate is manufactured. Pre-sale vouchers cannot be transferred or refunded once purchased. The fees will be refunded only if the license plate does not meet its pre-sale requirement.
