COVID19 SURGE AFFECTING OPERATIONS

July 26, 2021
Please be patient as we are experiencing COVID related staffing shortages system wide. Your wait time may be longer than normal.

Effective 7/27/21, all road tests will only be conducted at the Gateway branch and the examiner will remain outside the vehicle and provide instructions via two-way radio. The tester must be accompanied by a licensed driver aged 21 or older to sit in the passenger seat.  If you had an appointment scheduled at another location, your appointment will be honored at Gateway.  Walk-ins are permitted during the hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (weather permitting) until capacity is reached for the day.  To report for the test, follow signage and park in line with other testers on the north side of the building. Do not enter the building until after the test has been conducted.

The drive-thru at the Gateway branch is closed until further notice.
